WebGen's Intelligent Use of Energy (IUE)T Features and FunctionalityACCESS IUE is operating system independent with secure access provided through a standard Internet Explorer (IE) Web browser interface. METERING IUE uses existing utility metering/sub-metering for the purpose of real-time, data acquisition. MONITORING IUE remotely monitors all major and/or mutually agreed-upon energy consuming pieces of equipment, in real-time, on a continuous basis. FORECASTING IUE is able to forecast energy needs and execute energy-saving strategies on demand. For real-time forecasting, IUE assesses device consumption data in conjunction with variables that drive energy use and cost such as: external weather, space occupancy, energy prices and market demand. CONTROL IUE integrates metering and monitoring with predictive, automated control of energy usage. This system uses real-time building energy consumption, and external weather, energy pricing and monitoring systems data in order to optimize equipments settings for minimum energy spending and/or usage on a continuous basis. BILLING IUE accounts for its results with the ability to generate real-time bills for any designated time frame. Savings incurred from the use of the energy system are reported separately. |
