WebGen Systems Recognized By Frost & Sullivan with Customer Value Enhancement Award

Cambridge, Mass. (July 21, 2005) – For a second year in a row, WebGen’s proactive approach in Enterprise Energy Management was recognized by Frost & Sullivan with the 2005 Excellence in Customer Value Enhancement Award at an awards banquet held last night in Boston.

Frost & Sullivan’s Customer Value Enhancement Award acknowledges a company’s unparalleled customer service support and its ability to keep pace with changing end-user demands. It is also a tribute to WebGen’s superior technological ability, acceptance within the market, and impact on the existing competitive landscape.

WebGen’s Intelligent Use of Energy (IUE) provides building owners and managers with a predictive, automated energy management solution that applies best practices in energy management, including precise forecasting tools, to measure and optimize energy consumption. This results in reduced energy costs and improved energy efficiency while maintaining the comfort of the building occupants.

“WebGen Systems was the recipient of the Frost & Sullivan Client Value Enhancement Award in 2004. Conferment of the Award this year as well speaks volumes about the consistency and steady efforts of the company to create better partnerships with clients and meet their unmet needs and requirements, ” say Frost & Sullivan Research Manager Sanjiv Bhaskar and Analyst Sapan Agarwal. “WebGen has created and focused on a dynamic business model and a strategic framework designed to maximize the total lifetime value of its customer base.”

WebGen’s capacity to utilize energy efficiently and to provide its customers with a complete, dynamic enterprise energy management solution has positioned their product as one that delivers great value to its customers. IUE provides energy savings of 12 percent or more annually, while paying for itself in as little as 12-18 months.

“It is an honor to be recognized for a second year in a row by Frost & Sullivan with the Customer Value Enhancement Award; this further validates the impact IUE is having on the marketplace,” said Mark Noyes, president and CEO, WebGen Systems. “In today’s business environment, it is critical to provide customers with a product that creates real value for them; and WebGen’s IUE is designed to do just that by enhancing their existing building management system and gaining significant additional savings on a daily basis.”

Held in Boston, last night’s Frost & Sullivan banquet honored world-class companies for outstanding performance and achievements in customer care. The awards banquet is held annually.
