Department: Sales Position Title: Lead Specialist Job Description: 1. Pipeline Development: Identify and qualify potential prospects through proactive outbound calls. Design account penetration and territory development strategies with the field sales team. Prospect and profile accounts to generate new business and feed the sales funnel. Assist in building a strong pipeline of opportunities with field sales. Conduct research on accounts by using Hoovers and other sources. Educate prospects about WebGen and its evolving products and services. Maintain a level of metrics to meet activity goals (call volume, email, etc). 2. Marketing Program Support: Conduct prompt follow-up to inquiries generated by marketing campaigns. Follow up on all telephone inquiries and web leads within 24 hours; follow up on all other leads within 48 hours. Provide feedback on quality of leads and provide input for new marketing programs. Execute telemarketing programs to increase attendance at upcoming events, seminars, and to create awareness for current product promotions to target audiences.
